This water quality decision tree intends to serve as a guide for local communities in Maine who want to figure out how to work together to open clam flats that have been closed due to water pollution. As with all complicated problems, these tools are not sure pathway to success. However, the resources provide information about the multiple steps needed to reopen flats impacted by different types of pollution.
