  • Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association Working Waterfront Panel: Access- This conversation is part of a series hosted by Harpswell Anchor, the Cundy’s Harbor Library, the Holbrook Community Foundation, the Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association, and Harpswell heritage Land Trust. The diverse panel discussed what access means to them and the threats they see to access for commercial fishermen.
  • Maine Sea Grant: Coastal Access in Southern Maine- This workshop, which took place in 2006, ought to reach common understanding of the issues threatening coastal access in southern Maine and provided space for participants to develop solutions together.   • Shellfish Co-Management Workshops – In the spring and summer of 2022, The Department of Marine Resources hosted a series of four workshops for interested and engaged parties to share successes from and brainstorm ideas for fortifying municipal shellfish programs in Maine. This effort came to fruition based on recommendations from the Shellfish Advisory Council. A report and presentation were created to share findings from these meetings.
